How often do you see pink robot girl with i-pod in a strange pose? What do you feel, when you listen to your favorite music? How digital intelligence can perceive analog sound waves? What do you feel, when you look at this piece?
When I first saw this piece I was nearly stunned. Honestly, I've never seen so much purple, concentrated in one spot. The second thing I was shocked by is all that reflecting metal. How many details! Her body is reflecting even itself! And that pose... I think any other pose would ruin the composition.
Talking about technique, I'd wanted to say about some flaws and defects, such are shadows or couple of render artifacts, still visible in final render, but, I think, you can easily get rid of them, and they aren't so significant. Finally, talking about 3D artwork we usually say "a render", and assess the quality of the render, a result of software work. I'd prefer to talk about this piece like it was a painting, or a sculpture.
So, I was thrilled by whole image's emotion. Euphoric expression on the face, nearly erotic pose, pink environment... And the robot! Yes, a robot! Robots, who are usually cold and callous, who uncomplainingly perform their tasks, or rebel against their masters, killing them with calm faces. This robot is unique. I'd say it (she) has a human heart...
This piece leaves indelible impression. Haven't seen anything like it. One of the best works on DA ever...
